STRETCHER BOND
The most commonly used brick pattern in the UK Today. Created from laying bricks in courses of stretchers only with each course overlapping mid-way (by half a brick length) to the course below.
HERRINGBONE
A popular, decorative pattern. This is one of the strongest brick bonds as the patern interlocks. Great for fireplaces and feature walls.
FLEMISH BOND
Introduced in the 17th Century and popular through to the mid 19th Century, Flemish Bond is a brick pattern using alternating stretchers and headers in each course.
